Winery Tours
If you would like to take a wine tour, Bradford, Sullivan, and Wyoming Counties have several local wineries to visit.
Antler Ridge Winery is located near Rome, PA. Laddsburg Mountain Winery is located off US Route 220, just South of New Albany. If you travel East on Route 6 toward Laceyvill, you will see signs for Hidden Creek Winery.
Recreation
Hunting There are State Game Lands nearby to go hunting, hiking or even berry picking (seasonal).
Fishing The Susquehanna River is great for fishing, and there are several boat launches in the area.
Canoeing Canoe and kayak rentals are available if you wish to take a trip down the river.
Biking The beautiful country side is always inviting for a bike ride.
Golf If you like to try your hand at golf, visit the Towanda Country Club on Route 6, 1 mile East of Towanda.
Parks
There are plenty of beautiful State and County Parks) available to visit, including Mt. Pisgah, Ricketts Glen, Worlds End and Sunfish Pond. The gorgeous Pennsylvania Grand Canyon is also worth the drive to see.
Historic Sites/Museums
Bradford County is rich in history and has plenty of historic sites, monuments, and museums to visit.
French Azilum This is the original site of the French refugee settlement built along the Susquehanna River in 1793.
You may also want to check out “The Oldest House” located in Laceyville, PA and built in 1781, located along Route 6.
Bradford County Farm Museum located in Troy, PA has a collection of rare implements, tools and artifacts reflecting 200 years of farming.

There are plenty of local and nearby stores for your shopping pleasure. We have a variety of brochures available for many of the stores in our area including: antiques, country themed stores, bakeries, a cheese factory, and an apiary.

Traveling Route 6

Sightseeing
If you don't mind the drive, there are several places that you might want to see while in the area.
The Finger Lakes Region (Wine Country) is a beautiful area near Watkins Glen, NY. There is also the "Watkins Glen Race Track" and the "Gorge" to visit. Corning, NY has the "Corning Glass Museum." Don't forget about Pennsylvania's beautiful Grand Canyon, Just outside Wellsboro.
